Kevin Stitt became governor of Oklahoma on January 14, 2019.
Stitt served as President and CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group, a company he founded with $1,000 and a computer in 2000.
Kevin and Sarah Stitt have been married for 20 years. They have six children: Natalie, Drew, Kate, Piper, Remington and Houston.
Sarah Stitt cultivated a work-friendly environment at Gateway to build employees spiritually, relationally and professionally.
As First Lady, she will advocate for Oklahomans suffering from mental health issues and adverse childhood situations who don’t have the means to speak up for themselves.
Nineteen familes have occupied the Governor’s mansion dating back to the first family of Gov. Henry Johnston in 1928.
