Ways to Give

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your interest in preserving and promoting the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion! The Mansion is a true Oklahoma treasure. It serves as a link between the past and present, offering every visitor a unique look at nearly 100 years of our state’s history and leaders. Friends of the Mansion is committed to celebrating the Mansion’s rich history while ensuring its vitality for generations to come.

There are 3 ways you can support our efforts:

No matter how you give, your tax-deductible donation will be used to support our two areas of focus: preserving and promoting the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion.

PRESERVING

  • Art: The Mansion is home to masterpieces from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, with paintings and sculptures created by renowned artists like Frederick Remington, Wilson Hurley and Charles Banks Wilson. Donations help fund the preservation, restoration and continued showcasing of these historic works of art.
  • Furnishings: Mansion visitors are surrounded by truly breathtaking furnishings, including a grandfather clock crafted in the 1700s, a Baccarat crystal chandelier dating back to 1850 and dining room pieces original to the Mansion. Donations help fund the maintenance and restoration of the furniture, fixtures and textiles that make the Mansion such a historic treasure.
  • Property/Grounds: Donations also fund the ongoing maintenance and care of the Mansion property and grounds, ensuring that it remains a beautiful, accessible and celebrated destination for generations to come.

PROMOTING

  • Education & Outreach: We envision a Governor’s Mansion where Oklahomans of all ages and backgrounds gather, learn and celebrate our state’s rich history. Donations will help make this possible by funding public tours, special public events, educational initiatives, activities for children and more.

The Mansion has played a unique, significant role in Oklahoma’s past…and it’s a role that continues today. Your support, whether through a one-time donation, Mansion Society membership or planned giving, will shape the role it plays in the future. Thank you for helping us preserve and promote one of Oklahoma’s most historic treasures!

Sincerely,
Tammie Brown
