Oklahoma Holiday Ornament

During the holidays, the warmth of family and friends contrasts with cold winter weather. This year’s ornament reminds us of the beauty of a gentle snowfall blanketing our beloved land as we gather together inside.

The snowflake is the 22nd item in the series. The holiday ornament is issued annually by Friends of the Mansion, a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure ongoing preservation, restoration, and improvement of the historic Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion and grounds.

Septemberfest

September 8, 2018 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Septemberfest is a FREE family festival exploring the rich heritage and diversity for which Oklahoma is known. This event features crafts, music, storytelling, historical re-enactments, agricultural exhibits, theater, face-painting and everything in between. The theme this year is “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Oklahoma!,” which recognizes the 75th anniversary of the Broadway debut of the famous musical.
